Types of Therapy
The three main types of therapy used to create positive changes and bring about fundamental reframing and re-referencing of negative behaviours and thoughts are:
Suggestion Therapy
Suggestion Therapy is highly effective with issues such as exams, presentations, smoking and interviews.This uses the client's increased awareness and acceptance of positive suggestions to bring about the desired changes.
Brief or Solution Focused Therapy
This therapy is aimed at helping people to make the changes they want in life by enabling them to overcome past fears or patterns of behaviour. It is very useful for a wide range of issues such as, anxiety, stress, IBS, lack of confidence, depression, weight control and so much more. It makes it possible for people to use the resources they have within themselves to realise their own self-belief and confidence.
Analytical Therapy
Analytical Therapy works on the basis that every symptom has a cause and an effect. This therapy combined with Brief therapy techniques is felt to be appropriate when dealing with problems originating from the past.
